ALTENPFLEGE 2010
INNOVATIONS AWARD

Publicity guaranteed — for the best products and services in the field of elderly care competing for an ALTENPFLEGE 2010 INNOVATIONS AWARD, presented for the first time on March 24th at the ALTENPFLEGE 2010 exhibition.

Offered by the exhibition producers at Vincentz Network, the competition is dedicated to outstanding ideas, products and services for leading-edge elderly care services, with an award in the form of a publicity package worth EUR 25,000, helping innovations attain the attention they deserve. The ALTENPFLEGE 2010 INNOVATIONS AWARD provides innovative stimulus for the entire industry and contributes to popularizing the best ideas for improved nursing care. It promotes expertise in conceiving new ideas, perfection in their practical execution and avant-garde ideas in the field of design.

The competition was opened to designers of products which support the elderly in their daily lives, but which also facilitate the daily work of caregivers.

For example: Manufacturers of products or product lines which represent innovations for care service professionals (e.g. software, data capture devices, IT, care aids) and their clients (e.g. technical aids, orientation systems, bed systems). Architects and interior designers who implement architectures possessing a high degree of user orientation. Landscape architects (landscapes, parks, gardens as venues for recreation, regeneration, therapy and orientation). Service providers who provide services that support self-determined lifestyles. And consultants (introduction and optimization of organizational processes).

The awards ceremony takes place on March 24th 2010 at the “Lebensräume” special display in Hall 3, at Stand C 31.

This jury is composed of:

  • Prof. Wolfgang Sattler, Bauhaus University of Weimar, Weimar
  • Eckhard Feddersen, feddersen architects, Berlin
  • Mario Leupold, Lower Saxony Innovations Network, Hannover
